The weather has been playing with my mood. We’ve had rain, and lots of it. As a through-and-through Californian, the rain brings me so much joy after years of drought. It also brings with it a lush sort of earthiness that is only intensified by the contrasting days of intermittent, spring-like sunshine. I can’t decide if I want to romp in a garden or curl up with hot chocolate. Luckily, I have access to both of these things (#gratitude #eyeroll #amirite) and definitely took advantage of that.
We hopped over the the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco, the PERFECT place to spend a rainy day. There are lots of pictures of me frolicking through the foliage, but I’m afraid my facial expressions aren’t fit for publication (you ever seen a bulldog on a motorcycle?).
And I can’t help but note that today’s post captures the mood of the house that designed my flowy dress and purse. See by Chloé, Chloé’s diffusion line, is all about femininity and earthiness, but with that refined, carefree French sensibility that I sort of love to roll my eyes at when people go on and on and on about. Sort of like I just did, no? Hahaha.
Anyhoo, that’s it for today – short and sweet after Monday’s mega post that I *may* have written in a fever dream, since I had the flu last week. But I’m almost 100% back, praise beeeeeee!!
