Hello friends! I’ve been seeing orange everywhere now that Spring is upon us. I vaguely remember looking at the Fall/Winter 2018 runways and thinking, “ah, we’re going to have a LOT of orange next year.” And lo and behold, here we are. Orange pants!
I actually wore this outfit on the plane to my friend Emily’s bachelorette party in Palm Springs last weekend, and we were so busy catching up that we didn’t take any photos. Clearly, we took the “carpe diem” saying very seriously and got to work hanging out, hiking, and nerding out on science and sociology (that’s how Emily and her entourage roll). Isn’t that the BEST reason to not get “real” work done? Haha!
But Rodrigo came to my aid and photographed the look for me once I had returned to the Bay, because I really loved how relaxed, fun, and easy to wear it was. I’m hoping that this will set the tone for the rest of Spring!
I get it – orange isn’t for everyone (and whoever said orange is the new pink is seriously disturbed). But it’s fun to try something bold once in awhile, no?
