Hey heyyyyy and happy Wednesday! Today I have for you a look of the day that I actually wore two weeks ago and didn’t have scheduled to post until now. Whoopsies. But I’m posting it anyways, since it is a very versatile outfit for anyone who works in an office (or even if you’re like me and don’t have an office).

This dress has a TON of volume, but the fabric is lightweight with knife pleats, so it really shimmies when you move. Pleats are everywhere nowadays, and it’s easy to see why.

Dress: Vince, exact and on sale | Shoes: Zara, exact | Bag: Coach, similar | Earrings: Elizabeth Cole, similar

In order to avoid the “maternity look,” I belted the thing with an old GAP Men’s belt that I bought at the Petaluma Outlets in the 9th grade. Yup, that belt has seen some things.

The great thing about black is that you can bedazzle it as little or as much as you like. Add crazy cat lady earrings or waspy pearls – whatever floats your boat. Since I was on the way to a meeting in SF, I chose one statement piece – the earrings – and let everything else simmer on low.

If you’re in the office and don’t feel comfortable in sandals, wear pumps. You’ll look less Baby Spice and more Posh Spice, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

love,

Stig
