It seems that white boots are here to stay for awhile, and thank goodness. I love how clean and bold they are, how unexpected, yet easy.

Rodrigo and I had a staycation in SF for our birthdays (I’m November, he’s December) and we took an afternoon to walk the Embarcadero. There was a light, pleasant drizzle that made the air feel wintery and made the streetlights pop. We grabbed coffee and ate empanadas at the Ferry Building, a simple afternoon but nonetheless lovely!!

It’s true that you get used to walking everywhere in heels, at least to a large extent. Boots are often easier to walk in, when appropriately sized, since they grip your foot and keep you from wobbling. It was no problem walking around all afternoon and evening in these guys.

The white boots paired easily with this mod, off-the-shoulder top; I threw on my dusty blue trench that my mom gave me years ago, which soothes the visual a bit (if that makes sense).

Rodrigo snapped these pics with the iPhone – I think he did rather well, don’t you?

A simple afternoon, a simple outfit, a great time.
Love,
Stig
PS. More of these white boots in this post!
