What more could we ask for?
Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! How has your week been? My offering of this Wednesday is this mega-comfortable, totally chic, I just threw this on and oh, by the way, it matches? My life is completely together outfit. Sounds good, right?
A while back I had a delightful lunch with Papa Mendes over in Tiburon. We went to the wonderful relic that is Sam’s Restaurant, an old-school seafood house right on the bay. Doesn’t get much better than that (said in my best Ina Garten voice).
So what do we have here? We got sweatpants. We got a sweatshirt. We have slides with a sa-weeeet bee on them. And a shiny purse. And everything color coordinated, without looking like the crazy neighbor with rollers in her hair. Check, check, and check.
AND an awesome view, AND a whole day with my dad. Not to brag, but he’s a hoot.
Being at the Angel Island ferry is such a reminder of San Francisco’s history., since it’s the West Coast version of Ellis Island. My family, coming from the east coast of South America and Europe, came through Ellis Island but I have a lot of friend’s whose families entered through Angel Island. By all accounts it was not a positive experience.
Anyone’s family come in through Angel Island? I’m always interested in people’s history. Let me know below!
