Sometimes you just want to wear a sweatshirt, can I get an amen? I don’t know about you, but for me there are days when I want to let my body hang loose and snuggle up in some soft, fuzzy cotton.
But you see, there are days when vanity still shows up for duty, even when you’re in a sweatshirt kind of mood. You still want a bit of flair, a bit of fun, something to break up the blah and express yourself.
My suggestion?
Keep it simple, keep it bold.
Grab a pair of fun jeans and some shoes you love (I recommend stilettos, but you do YOU). Add a fun purse. If you’re feeling feisty, jam a baseball hat on and you have yourself an outfit.
Also, can I mention that these jeans are from Jordache? Like, the 80s-Brooke-Shields-big-hair-enamel-jewelry-acid-wash Jordache? Apparently they’re back in business, this time higher-end, but with a vintage feel. Judging by these pants, I’m here for all for it. What do you think?
This outfit I wore around town last week to do errands and general life stuff. I love being able to have fun with getting dressed, even if for those routine days. Life can be fun, it can be silly, it can be short – so enjoy it. Even on those days when you just want to wear a cozy sweatshirt.
