I’m just going to leave this right here in case you’d like a Valentine’s outfit suggestion: a cozy knit and a bomb corset top.

Trust me – no matter your plans, you can’t go wrong with this one. Unless, of course, you plan on going hiking, or participating in a rodeo (not the metaphorical kind, get your brain out of the gutter). But if your plans involve staying in, be it with a sig other, by yourself (the best dates usually are solo, after all), or with your friend pod, this combo will WORK for you.
By “work” I mean this: you’ll feel ah-maze-ing with minimal effort. You’ll be ready to go for (distanced) dining out. You’ll be ready for a (not distanced) dinner in. Not too formal, not too casual, just right.

A long, knit cardigan dress and a corset top strike a gorgeous balance between sultry and cozy, structured and soft. It’s ready for a fancypants glass of wine or a mug of Swiss Miss, a meatball sub or steak tartare.

Don’t have a corset top? Throw on a bodysuit or bra on, or let your boobs run free range. If you don’t have a long cardigan dress or duster, go for a deep-v! You may be able to fudge it with an oversized sweater (pants are, of course, optional). Whatever helps you feel glam and cozy and a bit spicy.

Rodrigo and I aren’t sure yet what our plans are – a lot depends on what’s open, if anything, hence the genius of a ready-for-anything outfit plan, if I may say so myself. And hey, if we wind up on on the sofa eating leftovers, so be it: we’re all about no-pressure holidays around here.

Cooking up some heavier-hitting content for next week. Stay tuned, happy V day, and let me know what Valentine’s outfit you choose – even if it turns out to be sweats!
love
Stig.
PS. If the top and sweater look familiar, it’s because they are! I wore the Tome sweater for dinner in this post, and the corset top to coffee in this post. Check them out to see different styling 🙂
